RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40-hour work week) with variable hours between 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM depending on staffing needs
• Block scheduling type
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; no first-time travelers
• Previous infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 3 patients per day shift
• Care for adult and geriatric oncology patients with diagnoses including solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology
• Perform and assist with special procedures including bone marrow aspirations, intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Operate special equipment including Cyracom interpreter machine, blood warmer, Hoyer lift, vein finder, and ultrasound-guided IV machine
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC (Chemo)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, OCN
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• May be floated to other campuses as needed
