Respiratory Therapist Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for night shifts in Silverdale, Washington. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekend and one holiday requirement
• No call or floating
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Role Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 25 treatments per day
• Work primarily with adult patients and some pediatric patients through the emergency department
• Cover inpatient services exclusively
• Manage ventilators, perform arterial blood gas draws, and set up BiPAP and ventilator equipment
• Administer nebulizer treatments
• Provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
• Assist with intubations (independent intubation not required)
• Work with bubble CPAP for patients 32 weeks gestation and up

Clinical Environment

• Work with NICU patients requiring strong level 2 nursery care competency
• Team of 4+ respiratory therapists on night shifts with lead therapist on staff every shift
• Equipment includes PB 980 ventilators, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
• Charting via EPIC system

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential as Respiratory Therapist
• Washington RT License required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• RRT or CRT certification required
• NICU experience and competency with level 2 nursery care

Compensation and Details

• Weekly pay: $2,117.12
• Personal scrubs allowed in any color
• Department-specific orientation provided
