Endoscopy Technician Job in Austin, TX

You are an Allied Health Professional seeking a 13-week contract role as an Endoscopy Technician at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX. This day shift position runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call duties 1–2 days per week (never on weekends).

About the Role

You will work in a 2-procedure room endoscopy unit, providing technical support and assisting with a variety of gastrointestinal procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP procedures
• Operating GI equipment and endoscopic scopes
• Maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio to ensure quality care
• Documenting procedures and patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Preparing and maintaining endoscopy equipment and supplies

Compensation and Logistics

You will earn $1,460 per week for this 91-day assignment, beginning October 14, 2026. The facility provides Ceil Blue scrubs; the hospital standard is Navy.
