Physical Therapist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a Physical Therapist in the acute rehabilitation department at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an 8-hour shift position with an assignment of 11–12 patients per day, with a treatment goal of 8 patients daily. The assignment runs for 89 days, beginning November 23, 2026, and pays $1,797 weekly.

The rehabilitation department is large, with 80–85 staff members, including 11 travel positions. You will work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician orders and evaluate patients to formulate individualized treatment plans aligned with short- and long-term therapeutic goals
• Monitor and interpret patient responses to treatment; modify plans to meet current patient needs
• Perform various therapeutic physical therapy treatments under minimal direction in accordance with physician orders
• Participate in discharge planning and instruct patients in home exercise programs
• Document treatment results and patient responses to treatment in medical records
• Supervise and assist students during clinical rotations based on level of clinical experience
• Maintain and clean department equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Acute, trauma, and/or critical care experience
• Oklahoma physical therapy license
