Medical Lab Technician

Opportunity:

Medical Technologist - Medical Lab Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with one day per week shift starting at 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend shifts required
• Holiday rotation may be required as needed
• Must be willing to float to Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Eagle River locations; floating may be prescheduled
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Work as a generalist across all areas of the lab including blood bank and phlebotomy
• Must be able to work independently and manage change effectively
• Minimum 1 year of core lab experience required
• Must be proficient in blood bank procedures and phlebotomy
• Charting and equipment experience required: Epic, Meditech, and Beaker
• Required certifications: MLT, MT, or CLS; ASCP preferred but not required
• Associate or bachelor's degree required
• Scrub colors: Any, as long as clean and presentable
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
