CVOR Technologist Job in Reston, VA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Reston Hospital Center, supporting complex surgical procedures in a specialized 2-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios.

Your Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular procedures including CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular cases
• Perform complete room setup and turnover between cases
• Obtain and manage disposables and instrument sets as needed
• Set up central lines, arterial lines, Belmont system, and cell saver equipment
• Operate specialized equipment including electrosurgical units (ESU) and positioning devices
• Demonstrate excellent sterile technique at all times
• Document procedures using the Meditech Expanse system
• Float to main operating rooms as needed to support surgical demands

Schedule & Environment

You will work 5 days per week on day shifts (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), with schedule flexibility including Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM options. You will receive direct support from a board runner, charge nurse, service line coordinators, and ancillary staff for efficient room turnovers. Scrubs are provided as part of dress code requirements.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential as Certified Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work directly with patients and surgical teams

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,190.
