Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving systems
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues as needed
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique patient needs
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Maintain professional behavior, dress, attitude, confidentiality, and reliability
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required
• Required certification: Radiography (R) by ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB preferred
• Texas MRT license by TMB required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
