Physical Therapist Job in Atlantis, FL

You will work as a Physical Therapist in a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Florida. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting May 18, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• Day shifts: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• One weekend per month; weekdays off to balance your schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule determined by surgical volume with weekend and holiday rotation
• Must wear grey scrubs

Your Role

You will provide inpatient rehabilitation care to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations. You will work with treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes, and an EMR system (Meditech). Patient ratios vary based on volume. You will collaborate with the PT director, lead PT, physical and occupational therapists, and assistants.

Requirements

• Therapy degree (DPT preferred)
• Minimum 1 year current hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility experience
• Experience in acute care, SNF, and/or inpatient rehabilitation required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work varied day shift hours

Compensation

You will earn $2,336 per week.
