Pediatrics RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in General Pediatrics with float pool responsibilities. This is a nights position working three 12-hour shifts per week for a 91-day contract beginning June 15, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. Your responsibilities include managing complex medical equipment, administering care to patients with hematology and oncology conditions, and supporting families throughout their hospital stay.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric inpatient nursing experience
• BLS and PALS certifications
• EPIC electronic health record system experience
• Comfort with high-flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, G-tubes, and J-tubes

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience
