Nuclear Medicine Technologist

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM<br>• Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures<br>• Operate GE equipment in single scanner/room department<br>• May float to downtown location approximately 6.5 miles away<br>• Use Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems<br>• Chart in Cerner system<br>• Work under supervision of Lead Tech with radiologist in-house<br>• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required<br>• Required certifications: BLS and CA NMTL<br>• On-call responsibilities after 4:30 PM on weekdays (rotating schedule)<br>• Rotating weekend call requirements<br>• Rotating holiday on-call coverage<br>• Teal scrubs required<br>• IV insertion not required<br>• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive nuclear medicine services with modern imaging technology and equipment.
