Med Surg RN Job in Goldsboro, NC

You'll join the University of North Carolina Health Care System as a Registered Nurse in our Medical-Surgical unit. This position offers you the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting where your clinical skills and compassion make a real difference.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical patients across your assigned patient load
• Monitor patient conditions closely, including vital signs and clinical status changes
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication administration records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members—physicians, specialists, therapists, and support staff—to ensure coordinated, optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed and timely patient documentation to support continuity of care
• Support patient education initiatives and participate in discharge planning to promote successful transitions
