X-Ray Technician Job in Kealakekua, HI

Kona Community Hospital is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a travel assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. This is a rotating shift position lasting 91 days, beginning June 29, 2026. You will earn $2,160.80 per week as an Allied Health Professional.

In this role, you will work in a Level 3 Trauma center environment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple specialties. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating Siemens X-ray equipment with proficiency and accuracy
• Performing all aspects of X-ray procedures independently and without supervision
• Conducting fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Supporting Operating Room imaging requirements
• Maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging processes
• Following all established protocols and quality standards

To succeed in this position, you must bring hands-on experience with Siemens equipment, demonstrated proficiency in fluoroscopy techniques, and a background in Operating Room imaging. You will work independently, meaning you need strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage patient flow and imaging priorities without direct oversight. Your experience in a trauma or high-acuity setting will be valuable in this fast-paced environment.
