Job Details:

• Perform professional occupational therapy activities under physician direction
• Acute and trauma experience required
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Interpret physician referrals and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures
• Evaluate patients in independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills
• Develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals, frequency, and duration of treatment
• Design and fabricate adaptive equipment and orthotic devices
• Provide joint protection and body mechanics education
• Inform patients and families of goals and progress
• Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans
• May supervise students
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision license as an Occupational Therapist required
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required upon hire
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed
• Computer skills required
