IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• 7 days of call coverage required during contract
• Set day off each week with some variability available as needed
• 8-hour shift option available but rare
• Weeknight call is optional from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call is optional from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Holiday call is optional
• Call response time required within 30 minutes
• No floating requirements
• Hospital-provided scrubs required; must change upon arrival and shoes must remain at the facility
• Perform and assist with IR procedures including embolization, Y90, carotid stents, stroke intervention, epistaxis, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stent placements, ports, trans-jugular liver biopsies, G-tube and GJ-tube placements, AVF fistulas, TIPS, and PICCs
• Work primarily with adult patients (18+) with occasional pediatric cases
• Average of 15 cases per day across 2 IR suites with a shared hybrid room
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of IR experience including scrubbing IR procedures
• Must have neuro experience including CVA and carotid stent cases
• Utilize Epic EMR and Philips equipment
• One day of unit-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT (CV), BLS Certification
