Job Details:

• Core Lab position - MLT not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Weekend rotation every third weekend to meet departmental needs
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Holiday coverage expected: if 1-2 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Required certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT
• Required skills include: hospital clinical laboratory, cardiac enzymes, immunoassay, therapeutic drug monitoring, tumor markers, CBC manual, manual differential, fibrinogen, platelet aggregation, reticulocyte count, ANA, body fluids, pregnancy testing, RPR, accessioning, pipetting, specimen collection, microscopic and manual macroscopic urinalysis, and quality assurance and controls
• Charting system experience required
