Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for their Cardiac Cath Lab. You will provide direct patient care in a collaborative setting across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, working with both adult and pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient procedural environments.

Role Details

• Preference for 36 hours per week with schedule options of 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge shifts required per unit needs
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care within the holding area
• Work within an RN and CVT collaborative practice model

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Critical care or cardiac experience required
• Moderate sedation training required
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience required
• Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Experience with right heart and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Mechanical circulatory support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural heart experience required: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, and ASA
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required
• New York RN license required

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
• EP Lab experience

This assignment runs for 89 days beginning August 17, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,346.20.
