Cath Lab Technologist Lead Job in Lexington, KY

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist Lead at Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. in Lexington, Kentucky. This is a 124-week travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a shift of 16 hours nights.

In this lead role, you will provide and coordinate healthcare services in the Cardiac Cath Lab with limited supervision. You will exercise professional judgment in your daily duties and adjust staffing roles as needed to ensure appropriate patient care management and smooth daily operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Recognize various patient conditions to provide appropriate care for successful exam and procedure completion
• Reinforce expectations and assist in holding staff accountable
• Assist with interviews and onboarding of new staff members
• Participate in corrective and disciplinary actions as needed
• Assist with staff selection, training, and competency development
• Actively participate in training new employees on equipment functionality and procedures
• Plan and execute daily patient flow including patients, staff, and physicians
• Maintain professional working environment and follow all hospital policies
• Maintain professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders

You will be expected to demonstrate leadership capabilities while coordinating the technical and clinical aspects of cath lab operations. Your role bridges clinical care delivery with staff development and operational management.
