Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday daytime hours with on-call requirements
• Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
• Greet patients and explain examination procedures
• Position patients and set proper exposure factors to obtain quality radiographs
• Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection protocols
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
• Report equipment malfunctions to immediate supervisor
• Process films and input information into Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
• Follow department procedures and protocols as defined in Policy and Procedure Manual
• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• NYS license/registration required
• One year CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist required
• Cath lab/Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
