Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4-5 weekend shifts required per 4-week period with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• No on-call required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities as needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 23-bed inpatient General Neurology/Medical Stroke/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Manage patients with diagnoses including Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, seizures, and medically managed strokes
• Support Comprehensive Spine Center and Comprehensive Epilepsy Center programs
• Care for overflow neurosurgical and spine surgery patients as needed
• Required skills include CVA management, peripheral line care, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, and use of rapid response/code teams
• 1 year of experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
