ED RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios based on acuity
• Float to meet facility and department needs within scope of practice
• 2 years of emergency room experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have emergency room experience
• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle approximately 130 visits per day in 37-room emergency department
• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
