Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4 days per week schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off
• Call required with approximately 7-8 call shifts per month including a full rotating weekend
• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• If ARRT certified, Maryland state license is required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
• McKesson charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI and STEMI interventions
• Perform pacemaker and AICD insertion and programming
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures including peripheral vascular, nephrostomy, and line placements
• Perform and assist with procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, embolization, endovascular interventions, left and right heart catheterization, PTCA, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and IVC filter placement
• Perform EKG lead placement and maintain sterile field during procedures
• Serve patients in adult and geriatric age groups
