CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Must be willing to take call two weekends per month
• If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, the traveler will be expected to work
• 24-hour orientation required
• 1 year of experience required
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• Perform CT scans on patients of all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle adult acute care and adult outpatient procedures
• Perform various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head (with and without contrast), cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Follow isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE
• Work with Philips equipment and Medrad injector
• Experience with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Participate in interventional procedures at stroke center
• Floating to other units may be required
• Scrubs are provided or can wear personal preference
• Must complete pre-start modules (billable up to 5 hours)
