Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Helena, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment at Cooney Home in Helena, Montana. This is a days shift position with 36 guaranteed hours per week, starting August 3, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver rehabilitation services and support patient recovery. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities designed to restore function and independence. You will be an integral part of the care team, helping patients progress toward their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance and rehabilitation services to patients
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training under therapist direction
• Support the implementation of individualized patient care plans
• Document patient progress, treatment responses, and clinical observations
• Communicate patient status and any concerns to the supervising physical therapist

Assignment Details

This 13-week assignment offers consistency with guaranteed hours and a predictable schedule. You will work days and earn $1,606 per week. Cooney Home provides a stable care environment where you can focus on patient outcomes without the uncertainty of variable scheduling.
