Mammography Technologist Job in Sacramento, CA

You will perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures at Sutter Health Medical Center Sacramento, producing quality diagnostic images for physicians. This role offers independent practice with opportunities to develop and apply advanced clinical skills in a busy outpatient setting.

• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and digital mammography using Hologic equipment
• Conduct patient assessments and provide attentive monitoring throughout procedures
• Execute safe, precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
• Manage approximately 24 patient visits per day with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Utilize digital quality assurance procedures and maintain radiation safety protocols
• Adhere to universal precautions and all local, state, and federal regulations and privacy protocols
• Use Epic charting system for documentation
• Participate in departmental orientation activities and may orient other staff members

Position Details: This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 7, 2026. You will work 5 days per week on day shift (8-hour shifts). Compensation is $3,064.03 per week. The facility will provide 24 hours of orientation to support your transition.

Requirements: You must hold current ARRT M and ARRT R certifications, as well as BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross. A minimum of 2 years of mammography experience is required. Prior Epic charting system experience is preferred.
