ICU Registered Nurse Job in Utica, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an ICU position at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Role & Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Active New York nursing license
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Must provide 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references

Clinical Skills & Equipment

You will work with specialty critical care equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun). Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is required. Heart experience is highly preferred and a priority for the manager.

Patient Population & Duties

You will care for patients with conditions including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, post-CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative cases. Floating to all units is required except Behavioral and ER (unless holding a position).
