Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed<br>• 2+ years of experience required in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex<br>• Heart experience highly preferred - priority for manager<br>• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)<br>• Navy scrubs required<br>• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Active NY nursing license required<br>• Must provide 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references<br>• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Arctic Sun)<br>• Care for patients with common diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative cases</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 42-bed intensive care unit with specialized sections including a 22-bed Neuro/Medical unit, 6-bed CTICU, and 14-bed Surgery/Trauma unit.
