Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Vascular Tech

Job Details:

• Shift hours are either 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM depending on unit needs
• No holiday or on-call requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• 1+ years of travel experience preferred
• Must be registered in both vascular and echo
• Perform noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing including echocardiograms, carotid ultrasound, PVR, segmental pressures, TCPO2, TEE resting echoes, stress echoes (dobutamine and treadmill), and venous and arterial ultrasound
• Interpret and document procedures and reports according to established protocols
• Communicate preliminary and final reports
• Maintain accurate patient files and equipment as well as a clean work area
• Provide assistance in training students and new employees
• Maintain CEUs and provide information as required by accreditation bodies for the lab
• Contribute to ongoing improvement processes within the department
• Required certifications: RDCS and RVT registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RCS and RVS registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
