Echo Technologist Job in Waimea, HI

Kauai Veteran's Memorial Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist for a full-time travel position in Waimea, HI. This is a 91-day assignment starting June 15, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $3,504.

Position Overview

You will perform general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound studies in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a quick-start position with an urgent hiring need, offering the opportunity to work independently while supporting a veteran-serving healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform General, Vascular, and Echo ultrasound examinations
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Provide on-call coverage with a 20-minute response time requirement
• Handle overtime as clinical needs demand
• Work across both KVMH and SMMH locations as assigned

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential (Echo Technologist)
• ARDMS registration and current certification in all three specialties: General, Vascular, and Echocardiography
• Demonstrated experience in General, Vascular, and Echo modalities
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting schedules
• Residence within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call

Schedule and Compensation

This full-time position is 40 hours per week on a flex shift basis with rotating day and night coverage. You will be eligible for holiday pay based on hours worked on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Weekly compensation is $3,504.
