Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts per day, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (occasional 8:30 AM rotation shifts)
• 4x10 schedule cannot be accommodated; must be available for 5x8 schedule
• Rotating weekends, 1 in every 4 weeks
• May be asked to float between main campus and a small campus approximately 3 miles away
• Perform mostly inpatient echocardiograms in an inpatient setting
• Perform 2D and 3D echo, bubble studies, color Doppler, M-Mode, TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE procedures
• Perform 3D strain image enhancing
• Definity and bubble study experience required
• Impella checks, LVAD, and Ramp experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Experience with portable studies, PACS, right ventricular inflow/outflow tract procedures, and imaging with contrast agents required
• GE and/or Philips equipment experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS
• Must be a registered echo tech cardiac sonographer (ARDMS RDCS, AE)
