ED RN Job in La Porte, IN

Northwest Health - La Porte is seeking a registered nurse for its 23-bed emergency department. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a two-week cancellation policy.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (36 hours per week)
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling not available
• Float to Starke ED every third weekend
• Holiday blackouts dependent on facility needs

Role Details

• Work in a fast-paced rural emergency department
• Patient ratio: 4 or 5:1
• Maximum RTO: 0 hours
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Indiana RN licensure
• 1–2 years of emergency room experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• De-Escalation Training completion
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

Compensation and Details

• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 29, 2026
