<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care Practitioner</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours per week<br>• Provide respiratory therapy services for all appropriate age levels and in all areas served by the department<br>• Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff<br>• Record treatment information and patient response in computerized medical records<br>• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients<br>• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients<br>• Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained properly<br>• Maintain necessary respiratory therapy records<br>• Participate as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests<br>• Act as a resource person to medical staff<br>• Previous work in children&#39;s only hospital preferred<br>• Two years of respiratory care experience in critical care setting preferred<br>• Must be licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner<br>• Must be registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care<br>• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire<br>• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire<br>• The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be received within 12 months of hire<br>• Must have graduated from an approved Respiratory Care Program</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This premier pediatric healthcare facility specializes in providing comprehensive medical care exclusively for children.
