Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available with 36 hours guaranteed
• Float to like units within scope as needed
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Patient ratios: 4-5:1 during days, 5-6:1 during nights
• Care for 29-bed unit with adult medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care patients
• Provide care for urology and telemetry patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ONCC/ONS
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, central line draws, port care, blood administration, PCA pumps
• Assist with bone marrow aspirations and manage Pleurx chest tubes
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred
• Work with specialized equipment including PCA pumps, CBI, feeding pumps, and bladder scanners
• Dress code: Royal blue and white scrubs
• Use Cerner charting system
• 16-hour orientation required
• WV or Compact RN license required
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
