Respiratory Therapist Job in Miami, FL

You'll work as a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory diseases. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 3x12 day shift schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

Your Role

• Deliver treatment and care using advanced technologies and medication delivery systems
• Operate specialized equipment including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo-i, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox
• May float to adult floors to provide nebulizer therapy, BiPAP, CPT, and other respiratory treatments as needed
• Document care using the Meditech system
• Work collaboratively with the Director, Manager, Supervisor/charge therapist, and nursing staff

What You'll Need

• Current RRT credentials with 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• NICU/PICU experience preferred
• Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Critical thinking skills, patient care focus, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to adapt to change and embrace multidisciplinary patient care

Assignment Details

You'll earn $1,708.20 per week. The assignment begins May 26, 2026. Light gray (silver) uniform is required. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in neonatal respiratory care while working with a skilled, collaborative team at an established healthcare facility.
