Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work in NICU/PICU respiratory unit providing treatment and care for patients with respiratory diseases
• Utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery systems
• Operate specialized equipment including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers
• Use Meditech documentation system
• May float to regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, and other respiratory treatments
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience required
• Current NICU/PICU experience preferred
• Previous Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Must be a team player with critical thinking skills and patient care focus
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Multidisciplinary approach to patient care required
• Dress code: Light Gray (Silver) uniform required
• Work collaboratively with Director, Manager, Supervisor/charge therapist, and regular staff
