PCU Registered Nurse Job in Clinton, MD

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required
• 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Work in both Intermediate Care (IMC) and ICU units
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required with ICU experience mandatory
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, tracheostomy equipment, IV drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment
• Perform skills including telemetry monitoring, central line care, chest tube management, blood product administration, and wound care
• Must have compact license or Maryland license
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
