About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position at Memorial Regional Health in Craig, Colorado. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026, with weekly compensation of $2,774.

About the Role

You will administer safe, competent respiratory care as ordered by physicians, with focus on Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care settings. Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications
  • Perform patient assessments and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all respiratory care procedures
  • Verify physician orders and provide accurate patient reports
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of respiratory care instruments and equipment
  • Perform effective airway management including bag/mask ventilation
  • Assist with intubation and suction techniques
  • Perform arterial blood gas draws
  • Initiate, maintain, and monitor ventilator patients
  • Interpret flow volumes and pressure volume curves for clinical changes
  • Attend department in-services, meetings, rounds, and mandatory hospital meetings
  • Assist in orientation and training of new employees and students
  • Complete required continuous training and education

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program
  • CRT Credential
  • BLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
  • NRP certification (within 6 months of hire)
  • Minimum one year respiratory experience in hospital setting

Preferred Experience

  • Pulmonary diagnostics
  • Cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, Event Monitor, Cardiac Stress Testing)

You must pass background check, drug screen, and breath alcohol test. Compliance with facility dress code, personal protective equipment requirements, and professional appearance standards is required.
