Interventional Radiology Technologist

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 shifts per week on 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities
• Assigned to the Angiography/IR Interventional Labs located in the Heart and Vascular Tower
• Work in a unit with 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio
• Work as part of a 3-4 person team consisting of Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS (ideal staffing of 2 Techs and 2 RNs)
• Operate equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Document using EPIC Cupid system
• Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma
• Apply critical care GTT management skills and Angio/IR experience including stroke and trauma care
• ICU/ER experience required
• Must have Critical Care and Angio (IR) experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code: Navy blue and black for Techs
