Job Details:

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve clinical outcomes and service expectations
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed, documented, and meet technical quality standards
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Work across a variety of care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty or graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in radiologic technology required
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies
