Job Details:

• Work 8-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend, call, and holiday availability required
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
• Must be certified as a Surgical Tech
• Travel experience required
• Orthopedic experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• Da Vinci experience required
• May be asked to precept new staff
• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program required
• BLS certification required
• Must have knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the operating room setting
• Function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
• Perform routine and delegated duties according to department standards and policies
• Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise and efficient reaction to all situations
• Create and maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
