About this role
Tide Health Group - Country Aire is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term care setting in Lewistown, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026, offering flexibility and stability in your clinical practice.
Position Overview
You will work 5 days per week on flexible 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements unless a holiday falls during the week. There are no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while delivering quality patient care.
Your Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting findings in clinical records
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary health team members regarding patient progress
- Document all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation system
- Participate in required patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
- Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current state license in Missouri
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience; long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
- New graduates acceptable with Level II clinical experience (not Level I observation only)
- Active ASHA membership and state licensure required
- Knowledge of ASHA practice acts, code of conduct, and ethical standards
Compensation
