<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM<br>• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed<br>• Must have 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU<br>• Travel experience required<br>• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex<br>• Heart experience highly preferred and given priority<br>• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)<br>• Navy scrubs required<br>• EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS<br>• Active NY nursing license required<br>• Care for patients with various diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro interventions, respiratory failure, CHF, post STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative surgery<br>• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)<br>• Work in 42-bed unit with East (20 beds), West (22 beds), Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surg/Trauma (14 beds)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services across multiple specialties.
