Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Day shift position working four 10-hour shifts per day
• 2-3 weekdays of on-call per month required
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience required
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics including age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods such as bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and planned patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care using inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Uphold all healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies including legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (required within 180 days of hire)
• Active RN license required - single state or multi-state compact accepted
• Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
