Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in operating room as circulating RN for cardiovascular surgery procedures
• Must have thoracic and vascular experience including heart and valve replacements
• Strong skills required in cardiac procedures including AAA, coronary artery bypass graft, fem-pop bypass, mitral or aortic valve replacement
• Advanced general circulating knowledge needed including positioning, prepping and facilitating surgical cases
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with 1 RN/1 CST per room
• 3 call shifts (12 hours) required over 4 weeks with days and nights available
• Work with advanced equipment including XI Robot, advanced spine equipment, and Mako joint robot
• Handle surgical procedures in general, trauma, orthopedics, urology, GYN, plastics, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic areas
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Follow AIDET patient experience requirements
• Required certifications: BLS, RN license
• Hospital-provided scrubs required for dress code
• No floating policy required
