Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Johnson City Medical Center

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedule options available
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating to medical surgical units required (must be pre-approved for floating)
• Patient ratios: PCU 1:5, Medical Surgical Telemetry 1:7
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must have previous PCU experience - this is a hybrid PCU/Medical Surgical unit
• Level 1 trauma experience accepted for first-time travelers
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, AHA ACLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• 24 hours of orientation (16 hours non-billable)
• 4-5 hours of non-billable modules completed during orientation
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Drug test must be completed within 12-14 calendar days prior to start
• Face must be clean-shaven for fit testing per CDC guidelines
