Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts
• Scrubbing cardiovascular cases required
• Float to other OR specialties as needed
• Call requirements: approximately 100 hours per 6 weeks with 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience
• BLS certification required
• Must have Indiana, compact, or Indiana temporary license in hand prior to start
• Experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO required
• Must have 3 out of 4 core cardiovascular procedures experience
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Travel experience required
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Endovascular procedures experience is a plus
