About this role
You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, located at 1801 16th St in Greeley. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 87-week duration, starting July 6, 2026. You'll earn $2,310.30 weekly.
Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for medical, oncology, and telemetry medical-surgical patients. You will complete comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, then formulate and implement individualized care plans using multidisciplinary team input. You'll provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members.
You'll document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records, evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, and revise care plans as needed. You are expected to participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives while maintaining clinical performance competencies through annual validations.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Colorado
- Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in medical-surgical nursing within the past 12 months
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Colorado CAPS required
You'll work on an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation per unit schedule. Based primarily at Banner North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC), you may be floated to support the Loveland Campus or BFC when needed.
Physical demands: You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, bend frequently, and respond quickly to patient needs.
