MRI Technologist Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This is a day shift role offering 16 hours per week at $3,259 weekly pay, with a 182-day duration beginning October 5, 2026.

About the Role

You will work with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment, performing imaging procedures for approximately 9 patients per shift. You will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech—you will never work solo. After midnight, the department is covered by on-call staff. On-call responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Schedule and Availability

This position requires weekend and evening availability, including potential holiday coverage. You must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:

• Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, and the following weekend
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend
• New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend

All requested time off must be noted and verified at profile upload. Requests submitted after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Current ARRT (MR) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• MRI Skills Checklist current within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
