PCU Registered Nurse Job in Sioux City, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a temporary position running for 91 days, starting July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 hour day shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,332.80

Your Role

You will contribute your professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses, including the Emergency Department. The facility uses the EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

• RN license (Iowa required)
• At least 2 years of previous step-down experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date
• Work history and resume
• License verification
• 1 supervisory reference at time of submission
• Taxable address must be outside 50 miles from facility
