Registered Nurse - Step down @ Christian Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with 1:4 patient ratios
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3-12 hour shifts
• Every other weekend requirement (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have been at bedside within the last 6 months
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must have experience with ventilators, titration of pressors, and insulin drips
• Float to lower acuity floors as needed
• Care for 25-29 patients daily census in 29-bed unit
• Titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips required
• Experience with trach vents, arterial lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes required
• Adult patient population
• High acuity step-down unit serving as bridge from ICU
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be proficient with BiPAP, OptiFlow, and arterial line management
