RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must maintain positive attitude, demonstrate teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skills needed include ventilator/sedation management and medication titration
• Perform procedures including trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion
• Work with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and Drager ventilators
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET, completion of communication boards, and medication teaching
• Unit has tech support available
• Required uniform: charcoal gray scrubs
