RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for a 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum callback
• Patient ratio of 4:1 caring for patients with conditions including stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury and stroke
• Manage insulin drips and primary patient care in fast-paced environment
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) certifications
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be hard-working, resilient, manage change well, and able to work independently
