Physical Therapist Inpatient Rehab Job in Silver City, NM

You will work as a Physical Therapist at Gila Regional Medical Center Crisis Response in Silver City, New Mexico. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,508.

Schedule and Hours

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 days)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling available
• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed

Role Details

• Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient coverage, approximately one day per week
• May occasionally cover inpatient services on Saturdays
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Clinical Focus

You will treat conditions including ankle sprains, degenerative disc disease, hip fractures, knee injuries, low back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, and spinal conditions. You will utilize equipment and techniques such as aquatic therapy, E-stim, ultrasound, TENS, myofascial release, and gait training.

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification
• New Mexico Physical Therapist License
• Experience with Meditech charting system
